    Voice of Russia - Job Opening in Washington DC

    Saw this and thought I'd post in the event anyone wants to apply!!! Please note, I have NOTHING to do with this!!

    Voice of Russian English-language service (Voice of Russia) is seeking a Producer/Reporter for our Washington DC Bureau.


    The candidate must be passionate about national and international news, able to research topics, generate show ideas, assemble news packages, aggressively pursue stories, interview policy makers, write monologues and report live from the field.


    Qualifications:


    -Proven newsgathering skills and reporting/producing experience in radio of at least 2 years


    -Interest in International and National Affairs


    -Exceptional writing/producing skills, ability to multi-task and achieve deadlines under pressure


    -Experience with booking guests and knowledge of political landscape of Washington, DC


    -Knowledge of Russian language preferred


    This is a full time position in Washington DC, local candidates are encouraged to apply.
