    Viewing American sports in Russia

I'd like to know how easy it is to see baseball and American football in the sticks? I know there are "sports bars" in Moscow and St. Pete, I can see scores via internet, but watching a game 8+ hours away would be a trip...

I have a whiffleball set to bring to Russia, I also know how to say "NY Yankees SUCK" Go Red Sox!!! I bring the Russian kids to see Cape Cod Baseball League games, a couple have seen Red Sox in Fenway Park ("it's SO green" is my favorite comment)

    Just curious.
I'm easily amused late at night...

When in Russia, forget about baseball, don't even mention it to you Russian friends or they will think you're some sort of queer fella. The Brits shouldn't talk about cricket, either - we think those games are stupid and don't understand why would anyone would want to watch them on TV. I would suggest getting yourself a broadband connection in Russia and watching the games online

I know when the Red Sux won the series a few years ago, the Red Sux fans were able to catch their games on TV in SPb and Kazan. But where exactly? I don't actually know...bars, but which one I'm not sure. Keep in mind though that they were going to the bar at like 3 or 4 am, so they didn't have to compete with many Russians for tv time.
Заранее благодарю всех за исправление ошибок в моём русском.

Maybe this relates to the subject of 'Sports'.

When I was strolling along through St. Pete on a sunny day in October, 2005 . . . I sat down and watched these folks playing this game for a while. I'd seen it before on television - but haven't learned the rules.
    Is it called Gordniki?
    Please correct my spelling . . .

If only you could see . . . what I have seen, with your eyes.
