Thread: Trillian instant messenger

I'm having a problem with cyrillic characters on my instant messenger. They are displayed as indecipherable letters and symbols. Trillian is a program I use that operates several IM services (yahoo, AIM etc) hopefully someone is familiar with it and how I can make the cyrillic charachters work properly.

P.S. Can someone suggest how to spell my name in cyrillic? Its all one syllable and sounds the same as lane or lain. And yes, its sometimes a girls name.

Лейн. Лэйн. Both are acceptable.

I used to use Trillian but it was so glitchy. I know that I'm really not helping you answer your questions, though, am I? I use Gaim now -- maybe that's an option?
