Seriously though, this sounds better than half the "real" songs out there, although the "lyrics" are all like that.

Yes, but what really awed me was how natural-sounding the singers made even these intentionally bland lines. That was the real art that made the whole parody work. If you just recite them, they're not funny at all. (except "Oh, yeah, request it!" at the end ) LL guys made the similar observation in regards to that "Statement. Statement. Statement." sketch, but it's even harder with music.
