    Thanksgiving in Russian

Ok guys, I am inventing a new word for Thanksgiving. I want your opinions on it, I also added netsurfers variation. Which word is cooler, soothes your eyes the most?

Actually that was exactly the word net surfer invented originally. But kalinka_vinnie either mistyped (misprinted) it or was just inattentive.

kalinka_vinnie, how could you do that? And as far as the poll concerned, I'd prefer the official translation or netsurfer's new translation, I'm afraid. At least they have some sense. Sorry :P

I'm sorry, I proved inattentive as well
The original net surfer's word was "спасибодавание"

I have voted in favor of the original version. What's the use of inventing new ways of saying Russian words? I don't mind variations but the phrases in the poll seem to make no sense... Is it just for fun?

As far as I understand the word 'давение' is derived from the word давать, right? That's funny Дав(л)ение благ

Hehe... Hi, netsurfer! Umm... well... look! a bird!

Ok, so I screwed up your word. So sew me (please don't)! Unfortunately, I can't edit it

Anyway, you guys are too conservative! Why not invent better, shorter and more interesting words for rigid, boring and too literal constructions! It's not like it is rude or slang!

Nice try! But we, Russians, won't buy such cheap tricks, right, net surfer?

Anyway, you guys are too conservative! Why not invent better, shorter and more interesting words for rigid, boring and too literal constructions! It's not like it is rude or slang!
You see, your construction doesn't make much sense, believe me
Why do you, Americans, always want to shorten and abbreviate things?! Are you so lazy that it's impossible for you to pronounce long words and phrases like "День благодарения"? :P

P.S. Please don't be offended, I'm just joking (as I always am )

"давение" can be not only a misprint of the newly invented slang word "давание", but it also can be a misprint of the normal word "дарение"

kalinka_vinnie, how do you do that? I mean, how do you manage to make such ambiguous misprints? Teach me!
