Thread: Exchanging sound files

My Russian penfriend is helping me with my Russian accent. I am learning Russian out of a book so I have some funny ideas about how to pronounce it, apparently!

She is e-mailing me MP3 files and I am e-mailing her MP3 files. I would like to keep the files all together in a place where we can both access them, because we are working out of a textbook and we may want to refer back a couple of chapters. It's hard to keep track of them all when they are attached to e-mails, plus you get limits on e-mail attachment size.

I believe there sites where you can get some free web space for your own files. Obviously there are no copyright issues here. Some file management would be useful too, so that I can store them in folders for each chapter. I would need the space for only about 6 months probably.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Rent an ftp server, or some free hosting with not so strict a policy as on narod.ru, for example.

Register on rapidshare, ifolder, sharebigfile or any other similar service.
