    some help

    ok, this is in no way russia related but i wondered if someone could help me .
    for some reason, ever time i turn my laptop on the internet forgets all my log in info for the various sites i go on. my cookie setting is on medium and before it worked fine like a week ago. i reset the defaults and it still happens! its starting to p1ss me off!! is there some way i disabled the cookies? if so, how do i reactivate them?

    properties on explorer -> "contents" or what ever it's called in english -> "Complete" or "fill in" automatically" or what ever it's called in english

    and there you have some boxes to check/uncheck..

    If you are refering to sites NOT remembering your password info, then try this.

    That is a link to turn on the AutoComplete feature in Internet Explorer.

    ok, i followed that advice but it still doesn't work
    when i log into my google home page it says that my browser's cookie functionality is turned off but i haven't done anything to it!!

    And in case you cant go to the page, here it is.

    My cookies are enabled. Why am I getting an error message?
    If you're receiving an error message that says, Your browser's cookie functionality is turned off. Please turn it on:

    Open Internet Explorer, and click Tools along the top of your browser window.
    Select Internet Options... and click the Content tab at the top of the dialogue box. If the Content Advisor is enabled, please disable it.
    Click OK.
    Next, please clear your browser's cache. To clear your cache in IE, follow these steps:

    Log out of your Gmail account, and close all other open browser windows.
    Click the Tools menu at the top of your browser, and select Internet Options.
    Click the General tab at the top of the dialogue box.
    Click Delete Files... under Temporary Internet files.
    Check the box next to Delete all offline content and click OK.
    If you're receiving an error message that says, In order to login to Gmail, your browser must be set to allow javascript to set cookies, we suggest the following:
    Open Internet Explorer, and click Tools along the top of your browser window.
    Select Internet Options... and click the Security tab at the top of the dialog box.
    Click Trusted sites, and then click Sites...
    Enter the following sites in the Add this Web site to the zone field:

    https://www.google.com
    https://mail.google.com
    http://b.mail.google.com

    Click OK to save your changes.
    Next, please clear your browser's cache. To clear your cache in IE:

    Open Internet Explorer, and click Tools along the top of your browser window.
    Select Internet Options and click the General tab at the top of the dialog box.
    Click Delete Files... under Temporary Internet files.
    Check the box next to Delete all offline content, and click OK.
    Please close all open browser windows, restart Internet Explorer, and log in to Gmail. If you're unable to sign in, we suggest removing all of your trusted sites in IE, then logging in again.

    If you still can't sign in, try logging in securely by changing the URL to https://mail.google.com.

    I do not think your cookies are the problem. If you have a ZoneAlarm, something wrong could be with its settings.

    i dunno what it could be. i tried all the above and it still doesn't work. i have norton, but not zone alarm

    may be reinstall will help? Or maye be even do "system restore"... Or even to use another browser (actually, I highly recomend this option )

    ok, all is sorted! installed the new version of explorer and all now works again. thanks for the help guys!
