    Russian Typing Tutor

I'm thinking of trying to learn the actual russian keyboard layout, rather than the phonetic one I use currently. However, I'm wondering if there's a typing tutor that could assist me in learning it. Thanks.

Sometimes I think "Соло на клавиатуре" teaches to read, not to type
My English isn't so good, зато с русским все в порядке ))
I'll be very thankful, if you correct my mistakes.

Why? Because you have to read a large article before each lesson

I would say order those little stickers that go on the keyboard. Practice typing with them for about a week, and by the time they fall off you should know the keyboard by heart

Where did you get yours? Most of my experience with those things has been that they become corroded from the oil on your fingers and tend to fall off in like a month.

I purchased stickers through this site a while back, and so far they're holding up really well. Turned out to be durable little things.
If only you could see . . . what I have seen, with your eyes.

I bought mine on the web too, I think it was through here. Cost me around 10 bucks and they have already lasted for over a year! Yay to stickers from Ireland!

Someone advised me to get a silver sharpie and write out the letters for a more permenant result. However, I'm a bit nervous about getting a permenent result on my beautiful newish computer!

I bought mine off eBay for peanuts - and they haven't budged either. I also got a choice of colours which was nice, as I have "adapted" both a white and a black keyboard

typingtutorsoftware.org has them, including a version that for Russian keyboard but with English instructions for Russian learners. $20-$25. They offer a free trial download.

Stamina. It doesn't only teach you to type in Russian but also "farts" whenever you make a mistake and makes "obscene" comments. Free and funny.
