    Russian serie

In two days, one serbian TV station starts with another Russian serie. The first one was Бедная Настя. The new one is some criminal serie and its name is Сашина екипа*serbian translation*, or Sasha's team.
If anyone knows, pleas be so kind, and tell me if this soap worth to watch?

    Best regards

    Re: Russian serie

"Бедная Настя" was quite popular. Nice, romantic elevated-style costume-story. The other one I don't know.

    Второй сериал, скорее всего, "Бригада".

Yeah, "Sasha's team" is most probably "Бригада" (literally "The Brigade", in criminal slang it means "the gang"). Sasha Bely (Саша Белый) is a principal character of the movie, a leader of a criminal gang.

Personally I hate films like this (thugs being romanticised and all that) but I know that most people love them. "Brigada" was a huge success in Russia, it was even more popular than "Бандитский Петербург".

i actually love BRIGADA too! i think it was a better quality production (shots, script, movie-quality finish), but I couldnt get enough of that little worm - ANTIBIOTIC -- hated how the series ended tho.

I loved both Brigada and Byednaya Nastia. Looking for BN on DVD but can't find it in Dmitrov. Does anyone know if it's on DVD yet?
