Russian Name and.. Tatto.
Priviet
Hoping that someone could help me...
I am Italian and I am thinking to get a tattoo ; my name (Nicola) in Russian cyrillic.
My russian friend sayd that in the Russian culture to make a tattoo of own name is not nice, because give the impression of a man that has been .....in the jail, (o something like this..).....so she advice me to don't make it.
THIS IS TRUE ????????
(In Italy this is not a problem, but I will move to russia.)

Russian Name and.. Tatto.
Thanks to everybody for the reply..
Paxan, my intention is to make a well worked bracelet tatto on my arm, that will include my name in russian..
Scorpio , of course it looks a weird idea, but I want to do it since a long time...I love everything means russia, including my cyrillic name, and also I will move to moscow in some months.
Alexander..I never hear until now that "Nicola" sounds a little bit "criminal" in russia...It will depend maybe by the Tzar..history..or what?
