Thread: New moderation rules

The forum will have stricter moderation rules beginning today. We are adding three new moderators for that (names to be announced tomorrow).

Moderators will have the right to remove a post immediately if after reading it the moderator:

1. Doesn't agree with what was said
2. Doesn't like the wording of the sentences
3. Has other personal preferences other than what is being said in the post
4. Detects a mistake or a typo, however minor it is
5. Doesn't like a smiley choice made by a poster

In addition, the moderators will have the right to permanently ban the authors of such posts.

A user may also be permanently banned for not showing up on the forum for longer than 3 hours.

We hope that the new moderation rules will make the forum a better place for everybody.

I like it that you can deviate from the topic of a thread or rant on a bit about a something without being "told off" by a moderator. That started happening in another forum I used to visit online so I stopped visiting it.

And since I want to do these things myself, I can hardly complain that DDT wants to do the same even though I usually disagree with 90% of what he says... I like the conspiracy theories though!

And ps --- I know I may have ranted a bit excessively at times in the Political forum against a certain super power to the West... But hey they are big enough to take it.. I might rant against Russia too if I knew more against it and didn't need help with the Russian language, lol..... I'll put the lid on though. Just because some American politicians and colleagues of mine are idiots doesn't mean I need to insult decent people like Chaika and Rockzmom.
