Thread: MasterRusian is about to roll out a new natural language

Quick heads up on what's going on here at MasterRussian. You know we love Russian and we have been working with some of the brightest minds in linguistics for the past nine years. We are also in the final stages of development of a new natural language (i.e. the one you can speak as opposed to a computer programming language). The main idea for building the new language is that its grammar will stimulate certain parts of the speaker's brain. It should take you about a week to learn if you already speak English plus another week to learn the basic vocabulary.

Just like when you feel good when you have a nice conversation with the best friend in your native language, simply speaking the new language will make you feel more motivated, energized, building better relationships and should have a positive effect on your financial well-being. This all should be automatic by simply speaking the language and thinking in it. This is because the grammar structure and vocabulary that you use will stimulate the right parts of your brain that are responsible for feeling successful and fulfilled.

We are still thinking on how to call the new language but would love to hear your suggestions. So let us know. Some samples sentences in the new language are coming soon.

Наш начальник складского комплекса в процессе общения с грузчиками-иммигрантами (зачастую не говорящими по-русски вообще) уже освоил этот язык в совершенстве. Самое замечательное, что и грузчики схватывают всё буквально "на лету". Воистину, поразительная легкость в обучении.

I think it should use a mixture of Cyrillic, Korean, Arabic letters... Plus Georgian letters because they are pretty! That combination should meet Master Admins objective of stimulating the brain!

My favourite Cyrillic letters are Ф and Я and Ж - so I think all words in the new language should begin with one of these letters!

Just some random thoughts...

If a language had grammar that resembles addition or multiplication in math wouldn't that make you more accurate and logical by simply speaking that language fluently?

Or if words were be based on positive imagery wouldn't that help to think more positively?

Maybe such a language is possible after all!

First, things that could be expressed using such a language would be of the order of "мама мыла раму".
Second, if you make it complex enough... Surely you have seen these blackboards with formulae all over them. Would you call it "simply speaking"?

I don't really understand what it means. If it's anything like PC then, well, no. I'm not saying that calling a fat person a whatever-challenged is necessarily a stupid thing, but what positive thinking it could entail? If food is unhealthy -- don't worry, be happy, it's ok?
