Thread: List of Russian Words

Hey guys,

I used the search function and googled this pretty thoroughly, to no avail, so I'm hoping someone can help me out. I've seen the MasterRussian 1000 most common words list, which is great, but it isn't printer friendly for me. Not only is it in 15 pages or so, but when I try and copy and paste them into a .doc file, all the words are clumped together. Does anyone know where I can get a list like this that would be easy to print? I'd like to be able to take them with me, and I'd need a translation with the words. Thanks in advance.

You can only get an old version in PDF, which is not as up-to-date as on the site.
That's the disadvantage of the print-out version.

I managed to make a table of the 5000 most common words list from the site linked to underneath the page on Masterrussian. Of course that list doesn't include translations...

So, here's a proposition: would anyone be interested in a wiki based on that list, to which users can add translations in their language? I could set one up, but I'd like to have some helpers who are interested in adding content to it.

That's a great idea, I think. I would help in anyway I could. Maybe you should make a new thread about this. Another forum I'm active on, speedsolving.com, made a comprehensive Wiki, and it's extremely helpful to newcomers and veterans alike.
