    A "lisseum?"

I'm hoping someone familiar with the Russian education system can help me out with this. A Russian friend of mine wrote the following, and I'm stumped as to what "lisseum" is. I'm assuming it's a typo, since this person's English isn't quite perfect. Here's the context:
"Everything is normal here: Sonya and Alla study at the same lisseum together. Sergei is also in school."
I think it may be music related, since they are both into that? Any ideas?

I keep thinking 'lesson', that's the only term that looks as if it fits. The only thing that comes close in English is Lissome but that wouldn't be in context with that sentence.

Lisseum looks like it's a French word.
Please correct any Russian language mistakes I make.

Let me rephrase. The original word lykeios is not Latin but Greek and became lyc
