Thread: Learning Russian IN RUSSIA

Has anybody got any tips on learning the language whilst in the country? It might sound like a silly question but I've heard of several people who travel abroad and fall into a little English safety bubble and never really learn the language that well.

I don't wanna be one of those people. At the moment, I don't speak the language very well but I'm totally enthralled by it. What steps would you take to make sure you achieve a good level whilst in Russia?
