Ты должна начать изучать грамматику. Я рекомендую тебе этот сайт:
You should start to study the grammar. I recommend this site:

^ in that site...in the first colomn are those the actual meanings of the words written in russian? or are they just guides to know how to pronounce the words :?:
It is a list of words which are the same in English as Russian, and on the right there is a hint to help you understand what it means. :)

WHOOOOHOOO! finally a site that actually tells me what it means and how to spell it!  !
thanx so much for all ur help! :D
These are cognates. These words have the same (or similar) meaning and pronunciation as in English.
"мама" is "mama".
"папа" is "papa".
"акт" is "act" as in "an act of a play"
"парк" is "park".
etc
Note:
The Russian letter "п" is pronounced similar to the English "p".
So "папа" is pronounced like "papa".
The Russian letter "р" is pronounced similar to the English "r".
So "парк" is pronounced just like "park".
If you're focusing on cognates, be sure to learn about false cognates, too.
Брат - brother
Дам - I'll give
Дата - Date
Фамилия - Surname
Граф - Count
Кабинет - Office
Магазин - Store
etc.
Магазин is a cognate if you are French though :)Quote:

A gazette is a newspaperQuote:

Магазин сomes from the French word Magasin, which means shop/store.
Two fingers facing forward is rude in Britain. Sort of like the middle finger but less offesive. The peace sign is the other way round.Quote:

I dont hate french people. my orchestra teacher is french but I hate him because he sat me next to a stinky cellist, but not because he is french lol :P
Ans once you've met 10 french people and you hate every single one of them (not for being french, god forbid), you start thinking maybe it's because they are.
