I'm almost 16)) You can send me e-mails, I'd like to have a pen-friend. I'd be very glad to help you in learning Russian, 'cause I'm Russian-speaking.Originally Posted by Saavedra

yes but he is now 22! (see post date )
Wow, I thought for a second that Friendy was back
Can't help wondering, where is Friendy, where is Pravit, where are Propp and Lindsay and other oldies, and what are they doing now...
Jesus, I need to take back my vote, I've gone up a category since this was posted.
I spoke to Lindsey briefly a couple of months ago. She's travelling, she's in SE Asia somewhere just now, though I forget exactly where.
According to his user info Pravit checked the forum a week or so ago!
Pravitt probably saw the topic for "Silly Questions" is now up to 114 pages long and the one about how to get Cyrillic to work on your computer and quickly closed the page!

I'm turning 23 in forty days. Gosh, I'm becoming ancient.
Yeah, what happened to Pravit? He was the only one I knew here who was actively studying Arabic (with remarkable progress, too!)

Я думаю, что это наш Pravit:

Привет всем!
Guess it's been a while. I was checking stats for my blog and noticed a few visits coming from MR
I haven't been very diligent in studying Russian (let alone Arabic) alas. I was studying Mandarin pretty intensively for a few years there, and did some traveling around China, especially Xinjiang - lots of posts about that on my blog. Still haven't been to Russia, not sure when I'll go. I'd like to see Uzbekistan and other ex-Soviet Central Asian countries though.
I'd love to catch up with people on MR - my MSN is still the same as it's always been, pravit726 _at_ hotmail.com if anyone wants to add me.
So what has everyone else been doing in the past 5 years, other than beating my one-time record post count?
Wow. It’s a surprise. I joined the forum a couple of months or so before you left it, but I still remember such a remarkable user. Hail to the one and only Pravit!
