    Holla

Hey. It's been about 4 years so I forgot my other screen name. But anyway, y'all seem to know a lot about learning languages. I'm fluent in English and Spanish so I understand what makes a language work, and I'm REALLY good at learning languages. So with that, does anyone see any difficulties with learning German and Russian at the same time? Anyone have any advise or whatnot about learning two languages at once?

Even the greatest minds in studying languages don't know how one of them works! Not to speak of that they work more than with the two langaugaes mentioned.

I tried learning two languages simultaneously. It's not that hard when you have an ear for them. Memory and attention work good here.

BTW I heard somewhere that foreign languages are best learnt in pairs. I.e. simultaneously English/German, French/Italian, etc.
Send me a PM if you need me.

Sometimes it seems to me not good idea for some language pairs.

For example poor Belorussian schoolchildren are obliged to learn Russain and Belorussian simultaneously. They have 80-85% common words and quite different orthography systems . Typical Russian errors are standard in Belorussian and vise versa.

When I started to learn French after English at the Institute I wondered who damage English so much ?

But I easily combined Italian and Spanish with French.

For me it's not a big problem. And I know people who don't have such problems at all. So, it depends on the person who learns these languages ))

Unfortunately I don't know anybody to learn German and Russian at the same time and as foreign languages.

Correct my mistakes, please, if there're any.

Well, I don't know what to say. I want to say thanks to the Academy, to Mama, to Papa and to my dog. I love you all.

    Может быть, лучше
"Может быть лучше" and "Может быть, лучше" have different senses:
Может быть лучше = It can be better.
Может быть, лучше = Maybe, better is...
In Russian, all nationalities and their corresponding languages start with a lower-case letter.

Hate= to dislike somebody or something intensely, often in a way that evokes feelings of anger, hostility, or animosity
Love= an intense feeling of tender affection and compassion
