In Russian, all nationalities and their corresponding languages start with a lower-case letter.

Привет, Сара. Что вы уже узнали о русском языке?

English: Hi, Sara. What have you learned already about the Russian language?
I am a native English speaker currently learning Russian -- all corrections are appreciated!

u can call people ты on the internet. Theres really no need to say "вы" unless ur sending an email to your boss or something.
Вот это да, я так люблю себя. И сегодня я люблю себя, ещё больше чем вчера, а завтра я буду любить себя to ещё больше чем сегодня. Тем что происходит,я вполне доволен!

You also have to say вы if you don't know the gender

Это зависит от сайта, на котором ты общаешься. На некоторых форумах даже в правилах написано, что принято обращение на "Вы".

Не знаю, как это всё сказать по-английски

Since this is a language forum, in many cases those who are likely to help you with Russian are here because they wish to improve their own English, so you may wish to show a bit of common sense and courtesy by writing your English a bit more clearly, dispensing with the "u r every1 lol!!" moronisms, and perhaps even using some punctuation in your sentences.

That depends on the particular site where you post. There are some boards whos rules state that "Вы"-address is acceptable

Sure. When im on the Russkiy Razmer website posting questions to my IDOL Витя бандарюк, I'll refer to HIM as Вы because he is a god among men. That's about it.

Oh yes, And I have one Pashtu teacher that learned Russian in the CCCP back in the 80's and we always talk in Russian. I always use Вы with him too, just because he is so Bad*ss.

    Welcome aboard, Sara!

And as to Scotcher's comments, abrupt, a bit corrosive as they may be don't take them negatively... he is giving good advice... there are many native Russian speakers, very good people here who will be glad to help you learn... just remember that not everyone has the "internet-style" or "street/young-English-speak" in their vocabulary (I sure don't have it, and I'm an American English teacher! ) ... so, just, in the beginning, try to write clear and standard (Canadian, British, American, Australian) English for native Russian-speakers. Most are fluent in English, but there are some who are not. So, just remember that.

Sorry, to everyone... I'm sounding as a teacher again!

    Sara, you'll have fun here.

    So, again, welcome!
