I have never been to Russia

What countries have you been to ?

Here is the pathetic list of countries I have been to:
U.S.A. , Canada, Scotland, England, Germany, Belgium, France


What countries would you most like to see?

I would of course like to go to Russia, and maybe Austrailia. I want to go everywhere actually.

I have been to USA, Mexico, Canada, Argentina, and Uruguay. I am planning to go to Oktoberfest this year with my roommate, though!

Haven't been to Russia yet. I'm obsessed about visiting sometime this year, though . . . but my plans are gradually coming together.

Let's see, the countries I've visited (In travel order):
England, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, Canada, Mexico and several U.S. states. Not an impressive list so far - but it'll improve soon, I hope.

I went in Canadian waters once.
But other than that I have never been outside of the United States. Mainly because my faja, who's never learned another language because everyone else should learn "American."

Nice. I'm in the same boat. Been to Canada 3 times. I will leave in September for an 8 month stint in Moscow, though.

That's exactly how my parents are, no way in hell they would ever learn another language... We spent a month in Argentina, and my mom giggled like a schoolgirl when she said "Hola" because she thought she spoke Spanish... My little sister and I had to translate for my parents the whole time!

I lived in Russia for 27 years..
Been to Poland, Finland, Denmark, Checkhoslovakiya (have no idea how to spell it , sorry), Canada
Now live in the US. We drove from coast to coast twice.. Midwest is in the middle of it, so go figure..
Going to China pretty soon
Planning to visit all of Europe, if time (and money ) permits.

Hmm..let me see now! Australia, New Zealand, Tahiti, Argentina, Brazil, Panama, Mexico, USA, Canada, Belgium, Holland, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Singapore, Malaysia, Burma, Thailand, Philipines and I got stuck at the Tokyo airport once!

Darn it DDT, u have one country more than me!!! What is the quickest way to Mexico???

The to at the end is important in making the sentence sound right. No American would omit the to.

Never been to Russia. But I am thinking about visiting Nefteyugansk this winter. Has anybody ever heard of this place?

The correct written form is actually "to what countries have you been?", because the preposition modifies the noun or pronoun. Of course, most people in speech will say "what countries have you been to?"
