If I offended anyone, I apologize.

My friend DID serve in the military for Belarus. It is because of him and a few others and their conversations that I gave my best wishes. As a part of this forum, I understand that some of the men (and women) here may have served as well. It was with a sincere heart that I posted this. =)

I also understand that this day is honored in other countries as well. For not including those in my best wishes, again I apologize.

I believe any man (or woman) that serves in the military for their respective country should be honored in some way. I commend those that are proud of their country. The people I know from eastern europe have a great deal of pride in their homelands (as I do in my own) and would never want to diminish that.

А почему, собственно, не об объединении с Россией? Ну или, на худой конец, с Благотворительным Обществом Юго-воСточных тушканчиков (БОЮС)?

Это, пожалуй, ты меня извини. Пора мне привыкать к тому, что эти страны воспринимаются как отдельные. Мы тут сами порой не можем договориться насчёт того, кто кому брат или враг. Поэтому требовать от остальных этого было бы нелепо.
С другой стороны, мне казалось, что всех жителей бывшего СССР для иностранцев легче воспринимать как "русских", чем заморачиваться на условности и отличия. Поэтому я и был удивлён исключением Украины из общего списка.
На будущее учту этот факт. А сейчас ты меня извини
