Don't know if this one was mentioned yet, but it's one of Murphy's Laws:
"If you want to make someone mad, lie; if you want to make someone absolutely livid, tell the truth."

"You lost today kid, but that doesn't mean you have to like it." -- Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
"We have found the enemy; and they are us." -- Airwolf.
Tom Clancy: "I believe that sex is one of the most beautiful, natural

Of all the things I've lost I miss MY MIND the most...
"I'm tired of plastic silverware"
As fas using "quotes" in everyday speaking, I don't use them often. I used them for school papers and Oral Communications classes etc. Back in the dark ages before the internet, a copy of "Bartlett's Familiar Quotations" was a good resource. I clipped "Quotable Quotes" from "Readers's Digest" too. They were always helpful in the sense that I could have proof that "someone" "famous" thought along the same lines as I did. But school is long since over and they gather "dust" now. But they are some interesting reading.
And you can "quote" me on that.
I'm easily amused late at night...
