Thread: Essay Contest

This Thursday, I am going to participate in a Russian Essay competition (yay! I'm so excited!). It's a somewhat local competition, so those outside of the New York capital region have probably never heard of it. However, I'm not going to hold my title as the best in my class, nor am I going to ensure the ability to gloat when the results come out, if I don't make sure that I will do well. That's where you come in.

I would be really happy if you helped me out. So, sometime this week, I want to write about some vague topic, and again, I would be really really happy if you could proof-read it, like DDT and his Martini--drinking-bathing-suit-wearing cow. Awesome. Thanks.





P.S Sorry I haven't written in the past two months, I've been grounded. Ah, the toils of a teenage life.

Isn't the purpose of competition that you have to do it yourself? If not we have a professional writer around.

That's funny because I can read all the English speakers posts written in Russian, which have been put on the board for correction much better before the Russian guys correct all their mistakes.

Oh, I'm not expecting answers, the subject on which we will write is given to us the day of. I just want to get some good practice in, and the only other people I know to speak Russian are either too busy playing Runescape, or rotting away in their bedroom.

Меня зобут Макс. Мне 13 лет. У меня тёмный волоси, и коричнивый глаза. Я Азиацкий. Я очень красивый, и девочкий все хочют мой секс. Бианка, знаешь ты хочешь мой секс тоже. И ДДТ, может быть гомосексуалный. Думаю, ну не знаю.
Я учусь в неболшом школа. У меня много друзей в школе. Я хорошо учник, потому-что учтелници люблют мне и у меня мало дмошние дзание. В школе, я учу русский язык и матматеку. Они хорошо. Ну, я учу английский язык, науку, историю и текнологию тоже. Они не интересный, и я спаю в. Я играю в футбол в физкультыра и после школы. Я неплохо, ну я люблю играть.
У меня два брату, и одна сестру. Моя сестра, она живёт здесь, в Нюь Иорке, с мне и наша мать. Мои браты, они живут в Тексас, с мой папа, и его жена. Я иду на Тексас в летом. У них очень жарко погода. Это хорошо, потому-что моя любимая время года лето и я люблю плавать.

No worries! I just need to correct you on one thing NetSurfer. It is apparrant to me that "ГОМОСЕКСУАЛИСТ" must really mean handsome and studly fellow with beautiful biceps that chicks really, really dig!

No, in this context, I think it means "a man whom other men with really large biceps really, really dig, and vice versa".

I apologize for any confusion. The website I posted only has the results of the Competition of Spoken Russian from last Spring. I only posted that to show how well I did last Sping. But don't worry, I dazzle wherever I go. No doubt Gold'll stick with me this time, too.

I wouldn't be so sure about that considering the number of mistakes in your essay posted here You should study harder if you wanna succeed.

I don't believe you, subpar. With all those mistakes in Russian, you cannot get a golden medal!
