Hello,
I am thinking of buying an ereader (Sony PRS-600). Anybody using ereaders with the Russian language? If so, which one do you use? Any recommendations?
Thank you,
Scott

I heard that they are very popular in Moscow.
Someone said lots of people had them on the metro and at cafes.
Of course you can use them for Russian, you just change the charset and/or font to something that can display cyrillic letters. This can be done in many different ways, varying from device to device and between software. Just read the manual.
I bought the Sony PRS-600 - the software for it is not so good but the device itself is great. I can study Russian verbs one minute then continue reading "A Patriot's History of the United States" the next minute. I have some Russian grammar books on it and lesson books. Glad I bought it.

It does not run programs. I can load a .pdf or .epub (it does other formats also) dictionary - when I find one.Originally Posted by sperk
