Thread: 10 Finger Writing

Hi!

Does someone know a Software for Windows, where I can practice Russian 10 Finger writing in order to practice writing more quickly?

Would be great the software would also be in English (since I am not that good in Russian yet) but it is not a a must.

There are many game-like programs that help you increase your typing speed, but I'd recommend "Соло на клавиатуре" as the only consistent training course. You learn to type fast and without looking at the keyboard. The first lessons are rather boring, though, but you need to endure them to learn basics. It gets better afterwards.

Put the four fingers on your left hand on "A", "S", "D", "F" and the four fingers on your right hand on "J", "K", "L", and ";". Then put your thumbs on the spacebar.

Then type about 500-600 pages of text.

I can assure you that your typing speed would rise enormously.

If it would seem not enough type another 500 pages.

This is my method. It works.

Yes! I agree with ST. Some weeks of chating in Yahoo and youк fingers will run like hell.

Yes your fingers may run like hell but i wonder if they will be typing according to the typing rules! My fingers have a mind of their own.

At leats you will suddenly find that you push the right key faster then think when it is.
