Can anyone explain to me how do Russian cellphones work, cause I heard the letters on the keys aren't cyrillic, so what's the correspondence between the letters that allows russians to send SMS messages in cyrillic?
I got an SMS from a russian friend the other day and it worked perfectly well in my Nokia 6100 to read the cyrillic characters. Does anyone know if I can actually write with those letters in my cellphone then? Cause, damn, if I can read them, I must be able to write with them too, or so I hope!
It works to copy the message and forward it, but I wonder if there's anything I can do to activate that alphabet in my cellphone...
Are all (or most) cellphones able to display those characters? I wonder if my cellphone would display Hebrew or Arabic characters in it too....
