But he was just walking down the street... not much chemistry involved there... The hangar makes sense, because it is a building.

The boy at the beginning is going lazily to school, I think the first lesson is chemistry which he doesn't want to go to and then he decides to entertain himself with something more crazy
I can't say if my guess is true because 7:00 is too early for school
It could be a slang word, and then it could be anything. Chemical plant, chemical stimulators, con etc.
I've got a TV, and I'm not afraid to use it
Alright the Hangar thing was a bad example...
I agree that it could be a slang word but Indra's explanation sounds probable also.
Maybe it depends what the other places are called, unless they are just normal names compared to the Chemistry one.
Please correct any Russian language mistakes I make.
I didn't notice where they said it, but химия is also a slang word for low security penitentiary where criminals are supposed to do some labour... I am sure you can find a more detailed explanation in some of the criminal slang dictionaries...Originally Posted by kalinka_vinnie

I watched it one more time. The first writing on the screen says Dvinsk-Clan. Le parkour. Dvinsk is a valid town name, so it probably takes place in Dvinsk. Dvinsk-Clan is probably their "production company" name. I have no idea what Le parkour means, but it sounds French to me. After that it really does say 7:00, Chemistry. I think it is a local nick name of the place. It happens a lot in Russia when people cut down long official names into catchy short words or invent something completely unexpected. I think only locals would be able to explain why this particular place is called Chemistry if the writing actually refers to a place.Originally Posted by kalinka_vinnie
It does sound French, a word probably made up from "parcours" to describe this kind of thing. Here's what I found.
By the way, does anyone know anything about the music or song they play at the beginning?
De gustibus et coloribus non disputandum.
Music is from the Matrix... by Moby.

Maybe his gay ass remixed it but there is definately an original by somebody else.

It may have been remixed by Moby but the original is called 'Clubbed to Death' by Rob Dougan.Originally Posted by Spiderkat

Well, the soundtrack was taken from MATRIX and it is credited TO MOBY (just check the CD yourself), so the specific answer to the specific question was: Moby. Dogboy, you weren't right.

No im pretty sure i was because even though all the beatles sales go to micheal jackson doesnt mean that micheal jackson made all the beatles songs. Moby didnt make that song. I was right. And you can just give all the credit to me.

Right. The original version is 'Clubbed to Death' by Rob Dougan. And the original version appears in the 'climbing' movie. Besides Matrix first soundtrack includes Rage Against The Machines, Monster Magnet,M. Manson...what does Moby have to do with it...
