What kind of career opportunity in USA do you see for a person with a degree in Russian? Could you give some examples? I would really like to know the situation on the job market.
There are jobs available in the US Government, with areas such as intelligence (CIA, NSA, DHS, INS/ICE, etc...), Translator, College Professor, Teacher, International Businessperson. The principal of the high school I went to had a dgree in German and also taught the same. Many people don't actually work in an area that their degree covered, particularly when their degree is in liberal arts and sciences.I know that Sears has a page on their online ap. that enquires about language ability (in other languages), and Russian was on the list. Remember there are tons of great reasons to know various languages!
