Which category best describes your language-learning needs?

One can need language instruction as a student at school, as a homeschool student, or an individual without school enrollment. Organizations (military, non-profit) also have a need in language learning materials. Which of the following groups describe you as a Russian language learner?

Yeah, well..... what if you are in college but already take too many courses to add Russian to the mix? You forgot to include... "individual student double majoring and minoring in subjects so different from Russian that they have to learn it on their own."
I do not understand very well the best way of understanding ..

In that case you should choose "individual". This is a generic poll

So what about the category for "I took it in a class up until the highest level offered (intermediate) and achieved a Russian studies minor, but have learned everything either on my own, with a tutor, or from Russian friends, and now I'm teaching some friends who are going to Russia this summer"???
I just put "individual". These categories are very generic.
    Yay! I broke 200 posts!

Sorry, this poll does not allow selecting more than one option. In your case, you should have selected several of them. But I guess that for you "individual" is most prevailing of all for some reasons (length of study, educational value, etc.)

It's a good poll anyway, despite my personal issues. It would be nicer if more schools offered Russian, but so far there are 0 people who study Russian in the classroom....Sad.

A school out side my district used to offer it and kids from other districts could take it there, but they got rid of it like 4 years before I got into high school.... not fair...all they have is spanish french and german, they got rid of latin and greek last year...blast these stupid public schools!

Hey, what do you know, I'm "individual" learner too. The university I'm going to doesn't offer Russian so I'll just take German, maybe get a double major or at least a minor in it.
