I am certain that it was Klinky and Surfer together who did this. That is why Surfer has not been around for a while. He has been looking for a place to hide it and Klinky old Boy has been looking for place to auction it off at.

Surely there are easier things to steal in Russia?

The money is good though

There was a group of bold lads who jumped on the freight trains, and disassembled the metal car roofs while in motion selling them as scrap metal afterwards. If anything valuable was inside they stole it too.
This story has ended when one of them jumped from a moving train and broke his neck.

My deduction is that Kalinka and net surfer plotted to steal that, now legendary, bridge but then, after they pulled it off, there occurred a split between them. Cunning Kalinka managed to escape with the plunder leaving net surfer without his share.
Then Kalinka begins this thread in an attempt to dispel suspicions. And what happens next? Lo and behold, there appears net surfer! He's obviously going to claim his share. He probably starts to blackmail Kalinka.
Kalinka has no choice. He's desperate! He goes after his former accomplice! Kalinka captures net surfer and locks him in a secret location. That's why we haven't heard anything from net surfer since his sudden appearance.

Give in, Kalinka! It's no use holding out! You still have a chance to make amends, to reform!

I will not admit anything. Net surfer lives in Ryazan, so it must be him! You have no proof it is me, so it is all speculations! At least we have circumstantial evidence on net surfer !

Ok guys. In fact I'm serving a 3 year sentence in Edmunds Hill prison (Suffolk UK). I tried to steal the forum building in Norwich to sell all the glass it's made of. But I was caught and got in prison. The other day I was told that some Norwegian guy turned me in and now I'm trying to figure out who it could be. Anyway I've been here since April this year so I think it's a pretty good alibi, isn't it?

As for how ofter I'll show up here, I don't know if they'll keep letting me use that computer class in the library. Oh well, we'll see soon.

However, when you think about it, Kalinka may not have actually stolen the bridge himself but I bet he was the mastermind behind the crime, who mapped it out ingeniously!

So, Kalinka, don't hurry to dance around the table just yet. This time you managed to bring off a daring affair and get away with it but you may not be so lucky next time. It's too early for you to relax. Make sure you are on your toes for I'll have my eye on you. One wrong move and you may wind up in all sorts of trouble
