    Washington State, USA

Anyone here from Washington? I'd like to know some things about the weather. I'm seriously looking at re-locating there, probably far northwest, close to BC. Is it really overcast and rainy 9 months of the year?

I lived there for two years (university) in Seattle (2 hrs from BC). I loved very minute! it does rain most of the winter autum and spring, but the summers are great!

    I would move back in a heart-beat.

I believe Rosa Anne is from there, ask her!

I live in washington. Between Seattle and Tacoma. I've lived here my whole life... I don't think it rains any more here than it does in new york (Was there for awhile too). From october till about march or april most of the days are overcast and chilly... But how many of those days are actually rainy, i don't know. Not nearly as many as people believe though.

Its nice here though, from about May untill early october, its in the 70's and 80's. And sometimes its cold enough to snow in the winter. If you're looking for a place with Forest, Desert, Ocean, Mountains, Beach, Lakes, Rivers....... And just about any other possible landform you can think of, Washington has it.
Вот это да, я так люблю себя. И сегодня я люблю себя, ещё больше чем вчера, а завтра я буду любить себя to ещё больше чем сегодня. Тем что происходит,я вполне доволен!

I have family that lives there, lots of trees from what I hear. The weather isn't supposed to be bad, and its not as humid as here in the midwest.

Yes I agree, but in the summer...

Small snowflakes infront if a streetlight is also a "classic"

I am 3 hours south of BC. It is not rainy or overcast that much. It used to be in the 80's but by the 90's the weather totally changed.
Last year I remember almost no rain. During the winter it is overcast mostly during the mornings until maybe 12 or 2 but after that it burns off quickly. The weather is rarely dark or overcast, and when it is it is a comfortable grey. But more often than not the sky is clear. It is almost never cold enough to wear a coat (if your even moderately sturdy) but the locals find even the warm, cold so ...

They rains are brief and light. It is rarely very rainy for any length of time. Sometimes mostly the rain drizzle comes in waves lasting 20 minutes then to clear for an hour. On and off. There are times when it rains for 3 days strait. This is not often, even in the winter. It is surprising since this is the rainy state. Though this might be because of the mountain ranges nearby here. Check out Victoria island. The buildings are way bitchin'.
It is Winter and Very Cold.

    tacoma's a different sort of crap-hole that's for sure... ...well it's true.
I feel that way about seattle. Auburn/Sumner/Bremerton et all rocks. (green and somewhat nature inspired) Spokane rocks in the summer (hot and water holes) Moses lake is pretty cool (big water hole central washington)
I may move to yakima and escape this city scene all together.
