I have now been in St. Petersburg.
Bought a balalaika in a music shop at Nevskij Prospekt. It cost me 14,000.00 (approx. NOK 2,800.00)Rubles. It was a lot, but when comparing to the prices in Oslo, a factory produced balalalika costs NOK 3,000.00.
But I never met anyone who could play it.
