Any Malaysians out there learning русский язык?

Am wondering if there are any fellow Malaysians on this board. Have been learning the russian language for the past 2 years (on and off), mainly through the internet.

Have finally bought the New Russian Course by Nicholas Brown. Now I know why it is so well recommended here.

It is really hard to find a Russian class to attend in Malaysia. However, this board is really great.

Hi, I'm not from Malaysia, but I saw in on at map one time.

I also bought the book you're talking about. It's pretty good, I agree. MUCH MUCH better than those stupid "Teach Yourself" books. They're worthless!

Hello and apa khabar (that's the equivalent of здравствуйте).

Malaysia is a pretty young country with lots of things going for it currently.

If you have Google Earth, you can even zoom down to the tallest twin towers in the world - The Petronas Twin Towers.

It's really hard to find the two towers by means of maps.google.com. Kuala Lumpur is too masive to see these towers at first sight. I'm still trying to locate them

How did you find them on the map? Did you use Google's free website or do you have the shareware version?

As for the pic, it's nice BTW, did any of you ever try Google's Satellite map on Moscow or any other large Russian city?

Alright, Vincentz, I meant "Parton". But I never pay attention to her, she is only known for her "towers"

    ReDSanchous:
I used the Google Map software to pinpoint the landmark. It's free also, I think you can go to earth.google.com to get it, very nice software. I'll post some famous landmarks tomorrow. How do they offer all these things for free... I want to work for Google!

Actually there are plenty of job openings at Google, Fantom! And if you do get a job, I get to come and eat lunch in your cafeteria, right? Catered food every day... for free!
