Thread: realization of a plan

Is it correct in English to say: realization of a plan/investment/project.
Or it is more correct to say materialization or anything else

Can you give some more context?

The realization of the new investment in the touristic area will delay two years.

I do not understand what will happen to the money. Will the development start in two years or the tourist area will pay for itself in two years and start bringing profit in year three?

The project will be totally finished after two years.
Now I understood.
The word in English is completion (from the verb: complete)

OK. The money (investment) will be fully spent in two years. The project will be completed and and begin bringing profit. Will the investors see any of it? When people invest money they count not only on recovering the initial investment but on some profit eventually also. Am I right?
