This complexity makes me really confused, I wonder what does she mean?

1.put things into perspective = ? or should it be considered as a part of the following "it remined me"?

2. to never take any workout for granted = ??

This awkward moment, when google translate and years of own language experience are useless.
Look at this sentence: "Definitely spent the first day or two just hoping it was a bad dream but I'm *extremely fortunate that it wasn't worse and that I have my health* and amazing family and friends to help me out.'
So, she simply means, the ordeal put things 'in perspective' - it was a minor injury compared to what can happen in a gym, theoretically. 'never take any workout for granted' - she probably means that she used to assume any workout would be uneventful, working on the planned muscle groups and then finish, change and go home. Her perspective is that it could have been worse, the injury could have prevented her from visiting the gym for a period of time. At least, she can continue albeit on other muscle groups.

'Hope that helps.
