Thread: English learning via role-playing in a virtual world... my project

Hi guys, I was wondering who wants to participate in my English-improving project (it's free). I made a pdf with a few pages explaining what it's all about (I've written it in Russian). Essentially it's an interactive online role-playing English-improving project, whereas you get to immerse yourself in English and express yourself in real time under interesting situations (whereas you're forbidden to speak any other language), and pretending you're a character (AKA role-playing) in a fantasy settings. At the end of each session I'll be correcting some of the major grammatical errors that occurred throughout the gameplay.

Hi Valda. Can you upload your doc in some collaborative translation tool? http://translate.google.com/toolkit/ for example. I think it will be more productive.

I've changed a bit the format, making it more of a 1 on 1 concept than a group one... So I keep perfecting the concept every day. I'll write it in English once it's solid enough (and uploaded to the resource you pointed out). Meanwhile iCake is helping me a lot, just wanted to commend him... not only he's agreed to participate but he's helping me see through the technical issues.
