Yes, you could say, "Я тут порылся у себя на диске и нашёл..."
"Покопался" would also work, but sounds worse to me.
P.S. We say "жёсткий диск" (not твёрдый).
I didn't understand the phrase...
Also, small corrections to your post from another thread:
I don't quite understand what is "вирджинском" here...
You can't literally translate into Russian phrases like "I am native American". It's better not to translate the word "native" at all.
I hope so because I meant to write it in English! :D
If you see any mistakes in my message, please let me know... Thanks.
Hi, хоккеист!
In Russian, we can use "if" + future tense. :) And we do it if we are talking about the future. You used the verb "исправляйте" which is imperfective which means that the action will...
Тут дело не в виде. Просто в подобной ситуации говорят именно так.
"Я сказал" means "I said" (example: "Sit down. I said, SIT DOWN!!!!!!")
"Я говорил" means "I told [you]" (example: "Tomorrow it...
Что почему?
Что 1-й раз?
Ха-ха, что я [s:124t69p0]сказал[/s:124t69p0] говорил?
Потому что это правило русского языка:
I have = У меня есть (literally: At my place, there is...)
Another possibility to express the same thing is "я имею (ты имеешь, он имеет)". Grammatically it's...

Вы точно уверены, что речь идет не о словарях?[/quote]
А вы всерьез считаете, что человек, который только-только начал учить русский язык, станет "изучать словари"...
... и учу русские слова.
Это изучить, а не изучать. Разницу не чувствуете?
Я не говорю, что "изучать" язык ВООБЩЕ нельзя, я просто утверждаю, что есть некоторая разница между "учить" и "изучать". Я ее как раз недавно вот...
It's because it is "для начинающих". :D
By the way, "I've been studying Russian for 3 years..." would sound more natural in Russian if you use the present tense:
"Я учу русский язык [уже] три года..."
With "уже" it sounds better....
iriroma, are you serious writing "Тальяти"?
The city's name is Тольятти.
Chemist, "пока ещё" means "so far".
Also, "Так я здесь" (So I am here) can be corrected as "Так что я здесь".
Честно говоря, не понимаю, о чем спор.
уметь читать / писать — saper leggere / scrivere
ты умеешь плавать? — sai nuotare?
Да и вообще, эта ветка не об итальянском языке.
One of possible translations is sapere, too. You can ask Lingvo.
На этом форуме. Parola d'onore!
Ciao!
Знать e уметь non significano lo stesso in russo, anche se tutti e due si traducono "sapere":
знать - to know, to be acquainted
уметь - can, to know how to do smth.
У тебя отличный русский!
И давно это у вас? http://www.kolobok.us/smiles/standart/mosking.gif
Нелья ли прояснить гендерный вопрос?
