I am new and feeling stupid. I am beginner in russian language

Hi. I know how to say a lot of things in russian but I am a bit shy when I try to speak it I love the language and culture and cooking. I am called pomkiwi on facebook if you are interested in where I live. Would love to find someone to chat with here or on skype.

Hi. My skype name is also pomruskie. We have many russians in Tauranga. I like your name, are you called Luba? My name is Christopher so what would I be called in Russia -
I will try to translate.

Hello, Christopher! Tauranga is true paradise I see its page in Wikipedia.
Your name may be called in Russia Фарик or Форик, because Фора sounds like woman's name. Or may be Крис. And of cource Христофор and Кристофер are very good variants, there is nothing complex to articulate.

Thanks Barsuk. I shall stay away from Крис, it sounds too much like 'rat' when I say it. Kolobok would say.
