Good day! "Изучающий" - is participle, not verb. It uses, when you whant to show a sign of the subject through the action. In this example action is "изучать". "Изучающий" means "somebody, who learns something". "Изучаетесь" - plural verb, adressed for some group. Postfix "-сь" means, that action must take place over yourself. I hope that I've answered for this question.

    Снасибо! Сейчас я понимаю.

So for active pres. participles I take the 3rd person present plural declension of the verb, in this case 'Изучают', take away the т and add щ and then add the corresponding adjectival ending depending on the case that the noun is in? In this case, because 'другими студентами' is the instrumental plural, the ending takes 'ими'.

It translates to 'other students studying' and works like an adjective?

    Да, как прилагательное.

    Вроде бы в основном так.
    изучают - изучающий
    едут - едущий
    знают - знающий

Ты сам это правило открыл? Может быть, есть исключения, но не могу сейчас вспомнить.

Встречать кого-то(accusative), но встречаться с кем-то(instrumental). Разница здесь тонкая, это почти одно и то же. Встречаться means to meet each other (not yourself!)

Not exactly. You must take out of the verb its ending ('ют'), than add the suffix ('ющ'). In general, there are 7 suffixes of participles. Shall I give them here?
Yes " Я встречаю Пушкина" , but 'Я встречаюсь с Пушкиным' 'ым' - is the ending of noun. It depends on case, declension, gender(he, she, it), number(sing., plural).
