One important reason I want to learn Russian is because of the Baikonur Cosmosdrome (Космодром Байконур) and the International Space Station (Международная Космическая Станция). I watched the Soyuz (Союз) TMA-07M launch before Christmas. The launches are always amazing! I'm always watching updates on the ISS experiments too. I have a forum friend (Anton) at another forum who works at the Russian Federal Space Agency (Федеральное космическое агентство России) too but he's not online very much because he has so much work to do there. He tracks satellites and meteors so he's probaly tracking Asteroid 2012 DA14 too.
