The music sounds familiar... It is from Max Payne 2, isn't it?

This is an interesting treatment. Though in Russian Mayakovskiy's poetry is usually recognized as something less calm and more aggressive. It has a very expressed rhythm in Russian. His phrases are series of yells rather than a whisper. IMHO rap is something most close to what Mayakovskiy did. Actually he is more aggressive and energetic than any rap I ever listened.

Looks like it was lost in translation.
