    How do you say CreditCards/BankCards/DebitCards in Russian?

    Hello guys !

    I'm currently building a website where, among other things, I will advertise various credit cards that have advantages for international travelers.

    What I need is a title for this section of my website. In English, it will simply be "Credit Card" or "Credit Cards". I'm looking for the equivalent in Russian.

    I did a 2 hour research and, it seems, that there is many ways of saying credit card in Russian (or maybe it's the different cases of the russian language?).

    This is what I found :

    банковская карточка

    платежная карточка

    платежные карточки

    банковские карточки

    банковская карта

    платежные карты

    кредитные карт

    кредитных карт

    I don't think that these all mean the same thing, but I'm cluless. Can someone guide me.

    Банковская карта / Кредитная карта - both are ok.

    The only difference that банковская карта (bank card) could mean both Credit and Debit card while кредитная карта means just credit card. For an average user there's no difference whatsoever though.

    Overall, if there is going to be more than there two words in Russian, take a (near-)native speaker to proofread the result, or your site may look "любивно и прельстиво" to natives.
    Russian is tough, let’s go shopping!

    Motomoto, usually the Russian sites use the word "кредитная карта" for this purpose. However you should do not forget about the ending of the word, which depends on cases.

    For example
    1) Средства оплаты:
    * Кредитная карта;
    * WebMoney;
    * Яндекс.Деньги;
    * Почтовый перевод.

    2)However:
    * Оплатить кредитной картой;
    * Оплатить через систему WebMoney;
    * Оплатить через систему Яндекс.Деньги;
    * Оплатить почтовым переводом.

    Thanks to you all !

    I understand that what I need is the nominative (standalone) case of credit card, which is Кредитная карта

    I'm very thankful for your help.

    I will sure have my final work reviewed by a native speaker.
