Do I Formulate This Sentence Correctly?

Почему мы стались иностранцами друг друга ? I wrote this sentences hoping that it means => why we have become foreigners to eachother. Like we were good friends but something happened and now it is like we were never goodfriends before.

Почему мы стали (no reflexive is neaded here) чужими (иностранец has only one meaning in Russian, and this is someone from a different country. Look at the word closely, it's so called сложное существительное (a compound noun), which is a combination of two words: иной, which means different, and страна, which is a country) друг для друга?

Как мы с вами стали чужими друг другу?

Можно и так: Как мы стали чужими друг другу? или Как мы с Вами стали чужими?
