I've so far found three songs that Regina Spektor sings in Russian, and I LOVE listening to those songs. I would love to find another artist with the same sincerity, depth of voice, and style...it's difficult to describe exactly what I like about her music, but the sincerity especially stands out.

Regina Spektor inherited some spiritual principles and style from Russian bards, but it is more about poetry and content of lyrics rather than musical part of the songs. So that reference can hardly be of use for you unless you are perfect in Russian.
