You may have noticed that Russian men have a tendency to remove their shirts before starting a fight. Do not ask me why. It may be that they feel more at home swinging it when nothing impedes their movements?

And the guy who delivered the final blow, hamstringing the poor fellow - that was low, and so unfair.
I also like how they're called "mobs" - when it's really just your обычный микрорайон. Ничего особенного.
What cracks me up every time in this type of videos is that your average бабушка always pops up to save the day, so calm, so cool, completely unfazed. Super-babushka, taking everything in her stride. Believe you me, if I came across a naked Russian dude gleefully hopping across cars, I'd fairly lose it. I'd vamoose before you could say Jack Robinson.
Professional boxers aside, do Russian men enjoy fighting, or what? Aren't they afraid of bodily harm? I'm rather cowardly myself (except perhaps in the area of jaywalking, where I'm a proper kamikaze) and would never start a fight if I could help it. That would mean losing a few teeth, having my skull caved in, my eyelids puffed out, my cheeks bloodied, my ribs and legs broken... No, thank you, and gender has nought to do with it, I feel certain I would think along the same lines if I were a man.
So what prompts Russian men to fight? Vodka? Drugs? A certain form of intellect? Money? Lack thereof? Religion? Soviet nostalgia? Education? Social bonding? Too much spare time on their hands?
