    I hate to bump up this thread like this, but I really expected someone to reply here.
    I do not claim that my opinion is absolutely true.
    If you've spotted any mistake in my English, please, correct it. I want to be aware of any mistakes to efficiently eliminate them before they become a habit.

    In the text

    "So while doing just that I immediately heared a woman say this to her male friend:"

    "heared" should be "heard".

    As for:

    "Is it actually normal to combine if and would in the same close? If it is, then what difference would these two sentences have?

    If you would just speak to him for me...
    If you spoke to him for me..."

    I really don't see much of a difference except for a subtle one.

    The first is asking stronger then the second. Maybe more context would help.
