Thread: my NATURAL accent

I'd like to know what you think of my natural accent

Here is a recording I made of myself reading some sentances (posted here somewhere) for the first time. That is, I didn't practice a million times before sending it, so it probably sounds much crappier. Yes I know I sound like a retard reading them so slowly and screwing up all the time but что делать?/ Some of the stress is probably wrong and I know I said поверить instead of проверить and обЫдно but I couldn't go back and change it, you see! I'm mainly worried about pronunciation

Except for some wrong vowels and some wrong stresses, it was very, very good. Still, I wonder why you are whispering!

жал - жаль
шофёр - [шафёръ]
мотор - мотор
обидно - [абидна]
купиль - [купилъ]
бродили по степи - бродили по степи
увлекался её еще в школе - увлекался ею еще в школе
вчера - [фчераъ]
опоздалы - опоздали [апаздалиъ]
улыпке - улыбке - тут произносится что-то между "п" и "б", но не чистое "п"

Whispering?????? no way!

basurero, you should practice speaking with native russians, then your vowel and stress problems will disappear very fast. I dont know how much exposure you get with the native speakers but if not a lot, then you're doing very well. Last 3 sentances were close to perfect.

And SPEAK UP..dont whisper
