    How do ya say this..

    Hiya,

I was being told that this:
Я люблю вас боличыя чыям слова могоот сказати Aлехеи

    Means,
'I love you more than words can tell Alexei' isn't that right?

If so.. I was wondering how the right way of saying it was. So, I hope there's someone who can record it for me, so I can hear it, by a native Russian.. Thanks

    Take care,
    Tenna.

Re: How do ya say this..

I don't have a mic here, so I will just correct your text for starters:

Я люблю Вас больше, чем слова могут сказать, Алексей.

It is better to change the word order however:

Алексей, я люблю Вас больше, чем могут сказать слова.

Also, you might want to replace the formal you with the informal one:

Алексей, я люблю тебя больше, чем могут сказать слова.

    Hey Tenna!

Here's my voice. I have recorded this sentence: Алексей, я люблю Вас больше, чем могут сказать слова. It seems the best one of all to me.

Еще бы небольшую паузу после "больше" Ну да ладно, это я, как всегда, придираюсь.

It seems the best one of all to me.
In my opinion, the best would be:

Алексей, я люблю Вас (тебя) так сильно, что это невозможно передать (or описать or выразить) словами.

    because
Алексей, я люблю Вас больше, чем могут сказать слова
    definitely sounds a bit awkward.
Please correct my mistakes if you can, especially article usage.

Agreed. I was simply trying to stay as close to the original as possible...

Wow. Thank you very much ReDSanchous
Also thanks to you, Vadim84 and MikeM.

But just one question. How come you spell Alexei, 'Алексей' instead of 'Aлехеи' like I did it?
Can you spell it both ways, or is my way the wrong way? or what?

    See ya, and take care,
    Tenna.

If it's implied that his name is Russian, then you can spell it only one way: Алексей. It's a rather common Russian name.

    I only love one

But..hmm.. The other day, when I talked with him, and asked him, how he spelled his name, with latin letters..he said, it could be spelled many other ways (Aleksey, Alexei etc.)
He liked the way of spelling it 'Alexei'...so, isn't it going to be spelled "Алехеи"? 'Cos you haven't got a letter for 'X' therefore, you're going to use the russian 'X' (which I know means 'H' in latin letters)

I'm a little confused right now...as you might can hear.. sorry.
I hope there's someone who can explain it to me, so I understand it..

    Take care, and Merry Christmas,
    Tenna.

In English ks and x sound the same, in Russian кс and х do not sound the same. You want it to sound like ks, so in English you can use both ways and in Russian you should use кс. Алексей.

In latin letters, he can spell it in the different ways he mentioned and it would still sound the same e.g Aleksey, Alexei.

However, that doesn't mean you should change the cyrillic in order to match those differences, it should still be Алексей if it is translated from Aleksey, Alexei or whatever for the reasons синичка mentioned.
Please correct any Russian language mistakes I make.
