Does anyone have any information about this city?
A couple of things:
-Know any good web links with descriptions of the town?
-Know about the cost of living there? Compared, e.g. with Moscow, or St Pete's or other provincial towns - anything really.

Yes, I know it's in the middle of nowhere, in Siberia, very cold winters, oil town etc.

I had some trips to arctic towns. It's interesting like an exotic adventure but I would not want to live there. A daylight span is too short in winter but it's not as bad as a long daylight span in summer.

I was in Surgut 4 or 5 times. Prices are as everywhere else. Lodging is exrtemely expensive. Извини, конкретнее не знаю.
