yahoogroup for adoptive parents and English-speaking Russian

Hello!
I am new here so please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Rhiann and my husband and I have two children, one adopted from Russia who is now 8 years old, and one adopted from China, who is 3 years old. We live in the US.
I started a yahoogroup to bring together adoptive parents of Russian children and English-speaking Russians. My hope is that we parents will learn more about Russian culture, traditions, and everyday life which we can share with our children. And I hope that the Russians will get practice with their English skills and feel good about helping Russian-American kids maintain a connection with their birth country. For everyone I hope there will be new friendships made and bridges built between our countries.
